Shipping & Returns
We ship our orders worldwide with tracked shipping:
- New Zealand flat rate $5
- Australia flat rate $14 for orders less than 2kg**
- Rest of the world flat rate $50*
*For Rest of World (ROW) shipping Rainbow Connection reserves the right to on-charge any excess shipping costs. All packages are weighed and the shipping calculated per order. Rainbow Connection will contact our customer directly in these instances.
We will refund any over-payments for ROW shipping when an order is processed.
**For Australia, shipping weighing more than 2kg: Rainbow Connection reserves the right to on-charge any excess shipping costs. All packages are weighed and the shipping calculated per order.
COVID-19 has impacted our global shipping timeframes AND the cost of shipping. Some shipments may wait longer at the border for passage out of NZ. This is beyond the control of Rainbow Connection.

Refunds and Returns policy
We want you to be delighted with your new purchase from Rainbow Connection. We understand that despite our best efforts to provide you with enough information about a product before you purchase it, once you receive the item you may wish to exchange it for a different size.
Sometimes despite Rainbow Connection's and its suppliers' quality control, you may receive an item that is flawed.
If you wish to return a product to exchange or for a refund, please contact Rainbow Connection before you return it, so we know to expect it.
Any item to be returned must be unused, unworn and with all labels and packaging intact.
We expect that you would contact us within 14 days of receiving your item, if you need to send it back to us.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged or you require a different size. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: Rainbow Connection (NZ) Ltd, 55A Ottawa Road, Ngaio, WGN, Wellington 6035, New Zealand.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded nor exchanged.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
